Canned eel in escabeche sauce is one of the traditional products of Ria de Aveiro, firmly rooted in the local and even the national gastronomic tradition.
COMUR – Fábrica de Conservas da Murtosa has produced this true Portuguese delicacy since 1942, based on traditional methods of olden days and of the same quality as ever. Escabeche sauce, a natural preservative of our pickled eels, has always had the same taste characteristics that make this product a true ex-libris cuisine of this region of Portugal. Ingredients: Eels (60%), sunflower oil, vinegar, spices, garlic, salt.
